Yalba is situated in the locality of Palentina de Calzada de los Molinos, a village in the centre of the province, 4km from Carrión de los Condes, the administrative centre of Alfoz and only 44km from the capital of the province.
The N-120 connects us with the rest of the world, linking with the C-615 Palencia to the south and to Guardo and Riaño to the north. The A-231 León-Burgos motorway and the A-67 Palencia-Santader motorway are the quickest and closest routes to this area.
If you would rather arrive on foot or by horse we recommend the famous Santiago Route, the Pilgrimage Route through the Ronces Valleys to Santiago de Compostela, where you’ll find one of the hardest parts of the route known as the “Country Dessert”. We always offer help here at Yalba to those who prefer to arrive by horse, preparing stalls and food for them as well as the use of the blacksmiths if needed.
Don’t forget that if you choose the Santiago Route by horse and need help through these areas, call us and we will help you in any way we can.
